steve is still having this nagging not-quite-sound issue, so since i had to pull him from the flyball tournament and agility classes anyway, and since he's supposed to be resting, i moved his neuter up to tomorrow.

please send good vibes!

i'm nervous. nobody's been able to locate his retained nutty, and it could be a real pain in the neck surgery. which isn't really good for anybody, but least of all the boy whose belly they're digging around in. i'm really hoping that once he's knocked out and relaxed, somebody will be able to feel it.

he went out for a pre-surgical ice cream sundae complete with dog biscuit this evening ;)

but mostly he thinks this resting thing is crap.

Poor boy in advance for the after-effects of nut hunting, but welcome to the Pancake Club!

River will be sharing Steve's de-nutting day. I'm going to worry all day tomorrow till I get him back. :(

The good news is they found Auggie's very easily and it went a LOT better than they thought, so it could totally go just as well for the Steve-o! He did have external stitches on one side because of it and that was the biggest pain of all.

Oh yeah that and the whole "no crazy running and jumping for at least two weeks" thing.

Bon voyage, Steve's testicles!

Steve needs to take some Woe lessons from his sister. He doesn't pull it off with such flair.

Best of luck to a quick and easy surgery tomorrow.

Sounds like a good plan. Not so sure Steve is going to be thinking so, though. Maybe they can't find the other one because it's not there? Hope all goes smoothly, but try not to fret too much. He'll be fine.

And yes, he does need to take woe-face lessons from Luce :(

Wooooo, is he giving you the stink-eye!

Everything is going to go just fine for you, Steve. No worries. And MAYBE you could score another little bit of ice cream very soon. Hey, coooooould happen!

And River, you're going to have an even easier time of it. In, out, done, and where's my ice cream?

Vibes for a speedy recovery.
Grimm had a retained testicle that no on could feel, even when he was sedated. They made the incision in the customary starting point, and it immediately popped out.

Steve doesn't look happy to join the Pancake Club.

Sending good vibes for an easy surgery. I hope they find his other nut.
