Suzie goes in for her spay at 8:00 am on Monday, and I wanted to know about eating. How far in advance should we not feed her? And is she allowed water? I'm not asking my vet because they aren't open on the weekend

Our vet said not after 8 pm (for an 8 am appointment). I think water was allowed until midnight.

No food after 8pm.... we never restrict water at school or at the clinic I work at.

Alright, I'll go with the safe bet and restrict food at 8:00, and water around 9 or so. She is usually in bed by then anyways, and won't need water.
