this morning, wandering down the middle of the road. She's horribly matted and half bald, I don't know what her weight is because she's so scared I can't put hands on her.

She looks like she's been missing for a really long time, or neglected for a really long time. :(

She's on a tie out in our yard right now. Poor thing, she's all matted and bald, and scared. :( Just got back from the vet, no chip. She already climbed out of our fence twice so that's why she's tied out for now. Breed rescue is already putting out the feelers for lost leos and breeders, etc. Thank goodness for those folks.

wow even though she is all matted and has fur loss she sure is beautiful. I cannot imagine how beautiful she is going to be once she gets all cleaned up and healthy. And yes please keep us updated!

Oh shes so pretty. :( Look at that awful state of fur. Poor thing.

Please keep us posted! Goes without saying that you're going the right routes to figure out what will be done with her. :)

I agree. Even in her state she is stunning.

Her eyes still look cheery, hopefully she just needs some loving.

Keep her :) We need a leo back on the board!

Update! Some good news! :)

The rescue located her owner, he was an older man and just beside himself at her disappearing. She has separation anxiety and destroyed a chain link kennel panel trying to follow him to the store this morning. Her bottom looks funny because some flea bites got infected and the vet had to shave her to treat them.

I brushed her out before he picked her up and she looked loads better. I'm so glad she has a nice home, she was exploding with joy to see him.

ETA: He also told us where he lives and invited us to come by. So maybe I can drop in and brush her once in a while. :p
