Just wanted to share my excitement about my home team heading to the WORLD SERIES!!! I am a HUGE baseball fan, always have been! As a female I played in an all girls hard ball league for 10 years :D Yeah, I'm a tomboy LOL! Anyways, I am so proud of my home team and thought they played a great series with the Indians. They were both great teams for sure but only one can win and I'm glad it was us!! Now, on their way to another great series with the Colorado Rockies..... another great team! Hopefully my Red Sox can bring home the WORLD SERIES title next! :) GO SOX!!! Any other Sox fans on Chaz? I know that some exist in other states.....Not just here in Mass ;)

Not necessarily a fan of sports, but I easily get swept up in the hysteria :)

I'm bummed that they didn't show The Dropkicks doing the National Anthem last night. I was all pumped to watch it. *grrrrrr*

But yay to the Sox for kickin' butt!

YAY! :D I haven't been able to watch the games but I saw that they are doing goood :D I'm a Red Sox fan also ^^ Thats what cha get for livin near boston... ;)

Yay RedSox!

I wasn't much of a baseball fan before moving to Maine. Now living here it's almost a must..lol kidding, well kind of. I live about 1hr 20/30 minutes away from Boston. You can't go anywhere without hearing about the Sox.

I love watching it around this time of the season though I find myself getting to overwhelmed during the game, it's so stressful. lol

How's the indian summer coming along up there, Giny? Is it beautiful yet? :D Mmmm I MISS the indian summer up there *sigh* OK... I miss Boston and such... :(

Aw, it's so beautiful here right now, Gipsy! The leaves are just right and I love the evening winds and seeing the leaves blowing.....if only the weather could skip over winter..lol I got to look at it positively...spring wouldn't be so special if winter wasn't there.

Gypsy, the weather here today is a gorgeous 70 + degrees :) Caiza and I just got back from a gorgeous walk in the woods with all the trees in beautiful shades of orange and reds and all over the paths ;) Fall is my most favorite time of year......although, we are lucky if we get a few weeks worth of real fall :(

Also, on my walk almost everyone I passed had either a Red Sox shirt on or was talking about last nights game! So exciting :D

MM Ijust LOVE the fall in Rhode Island! If you get the chance you should hed down to Arcadia with Caiza! It's beautiful there during this time of the year :) You walk through the pretty paths, and they even have a small beach where dogs can go swimming any time of the year! What also beautiful is East Beach, in Charlston, RI. They allow dogs after labour day and it just wonderful! :) Or even Beavertail in Jamestown!

As long as the Yankees on on the outside lookin in, it's all good. LOL Sorry, but the Yankees are just one of those teams you either love or hate.

But it is getting a little old watching the same 5-6 teams compete for the series each year...

not if you root for one of those teams! haha.

and I agree about the Yankees and i LOOOOOVE them... hehe.... plus they are saving me a ton of money... the last time I had to cough up 250 plus for a world series ticket was 2003.:p

I hate the YANKEES :cool: ! And proudly wear my Yankees SUCK T-shirt :lol-sign: Boston and NY Yankees are huge baseball rivalry's but there are lots of NY fans here in Boston just as there are many Red Sox fans in NY. I love the rivalry between the two teams though....Makes for a great interesting game every time ;)

I'm a red Sox fan!!!!! Well sort of, I'm not a huge sports fan but I do watch the games I just don't scream and leap out of my chair when things happen (like everybody else around me) and i don't really know anything about the sports or rankings, I just watch I don't follow lol. I made a Build a bear at the beginning of the year that they won and had him sit on top of the entertainment center for every World Series game, he had a Red Sox shirt on so he is the official good luck red Sox bear. I brought him out for the first time this year last night and they won, YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I also love the Patriots who are doing awesome, though people tend not to like them since they win too much :rolleyes:

LOL!! That's okay............I have been a Boston fan even before they started winning! All those rings the Yank's won in the past along with all their world series titles don't matter now. What matters now is that the Red Sox finally have it and are a great team! Torre is already gone from the team and A-rods contract is up so anything can happen. I'll give credit where credit is due though, the Yanks "were" a strong team but are slowly falling apart at their pinstripe seems...............;)
