Hi all, wow it has really been a long time since I have posted! But I do need some advice.

Codi is well, he is such a ball of energy, but something seems to be wrong...

I got home today from work, and found him curled up on my bed, which he NEVER DOES, my mom said that he has been there all day, normally he is in the main house hanging out with my parents when I am not around.

He is curled up on my bed, panting, and is acting almost scared. His body is kind of shivering, but not to drastically. My parents said he did not sleep at all last night, he kept tossing and turning and could just not get to a comfortable resting point.

We have given him his deworming tablets.

This afternoon when I got home, he went outside with me, and we ran a little in the back yard, he drank some water and then went stright back to my bed. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up to find him laying (hiding) behind my washing machine.

I know he is sensitive to sound, and there is sports on, but its not that loud that it would bother me, or him.

I dont know what to do, this behavior is very unlike him!

Please, any advice would be great.

You were on my mind all week, Iky.

Codi's a Husky, Yoko :)

I'd have to agree with a vet check first thing Monday, or if things go downhill, an emergency vet. To soothe him, you might try some Bach's Rescue Remedy. If you can take away the anxiety, it lets their bodies heal better.

Is there anything toxic he could have gotten into? Look around, or think if he's been outside and might have found something. If that's a possibility, the sooner to the vet the better :(

I think it is a noise factor. As soon as a loud car or bike goes past, he starts to look for somewhere to hide. I dont know, I will get him to the vet as soon as I can, there has to be something they can do for him.

I thought about maybe he ate something that was not right, but nothing out of the ordinary has been laying around.

Renee, I often think of you! How are things your side?

Things are wild on this side . . . as usual. I've added a little blue brindle APBT to the household, Tallulah. She doesn't allow things to get quiet, lol. Bimmer adores her and Kharma loves her enough to put up with her -- and wrestle with her and let her take all sorts of liberties, like laying her head on Kharma when she sleeps.
