A couple of people has asked me to take in there dogs this week :/

One of the dogs is a 4 year old Male long haired Chihuahua (Mac) and the other is a 7 year old Female Pomeranian.

I am going to meet Mac on Wednesday, but he has already been taken back too his current owner twice because he didn't get along with their other dog and the other people decided the would rather have the older boy she was rehoming instead.

Which makes me think there might be something wrong with him, somehow..
But I think he would be a better fit the an older dog, because he is closer to Sophie's age..

I am hesitant to even meet the pomeranian.. I've never had an older dog and i'm not sure how that would work with the puppy and Sophie..

Pomeranian's are the breed I absolutely adore.. but I have been thinking about what breed I will get next and Chihuahua is second on my list (mini dachshund being first)

I don't know what too do :/

7 years old is not old for a pomeranian. If she does not get along with the puppy, then just do not leave her with the puppy?

My collie is 12. She is pretty tolerant of Watson's puppy antics, but all dogs are different.

You could meet both dogs and maybe even have them meet your crew before making a final decision.
