So when I can't take the girls to work with me my mom comes by the house to let them out/play with them. A friend of hers was staying with her and came over to visit the girls the other day. My mom told me that Domino was super happy to see her like usual and then she noticed her friend and started barking in an alert/scared way. Then she said that she went and hid next to my mom and started shaking. 
This is so shocking, I've never seen Domino not instantly be in love with every human. She's also seen this person before so it was extra weird. I guess it must have just been that she didn't realize someone else was in the house and it just freaked her out. Plus this friend of my moms is totally not a dog person so she probably wasn't giving off happy vibes.
When my mom told me how she tried to hug and pet Domino to make her feel better I gritted my teeth. Next time I'll make sure she knows to just act like everything's okay and she'll probably get over it fast.
I always thought that if someone broke into the house that the most guarding little Dom would do would be to maul him with kisses. I guess she might actually bark at an intruder. I know Jasmine would so she'd probably at least join in.
