Dakota went to his third puppy OB class today, and there is SUCH an interesting group of dogs there. He just has a blast, and yes I know I'm bragging but amongst the 6-8 month old dogs there, Dakota is the best with his commands. :D

I saw two of his littermates, named Lucy and Libby, and OMG.. These little girls were so TINY and SWEET and SUBMISSIVE. While Dakota weighs in at about 18lbs these ones are about 9 or 10lbs. And Lucy especially is SO 'squinty' and submissive.. Dakota jumped right on top of her and pinned her to the ground. (ALPHA MALE! LOL) So it was interesting to see that I got the hard, alpha dog of the litter.

I am going next Tuesday and I will take pictures for everyone, so you can see how BIG he is compared to those little tiny ones! :p

It sounds like Dakota's either going to be the teacher's pet or the class cut-up. It will be interesting for you to find out the difference in the feeding between Dakota and his two littermates as well.

He really would have fun with Shiva. I don't know if you could stand him afterwards, though.

Can't wait to see photos of Dakota and his classmates.

It sounds like Dakota is doing great! I'm ashamed to say that my little guy is a puppy kindergarten drop out!

He did pretty well for the first few classes, and eventually got over his fear of all the other dogs and then, just to do my nerves good ( ;) ) decided that the biggest Pit in the class looked like someone he'd like to play with. Ack!

Anyway, I'm working three jobs at the moment at Puppy K was started at 8 at night. Not only was I usually too burned out by then to work up much enthusiasm for the class, I couldn't find the time to work on the "homework" between classes. Poor Buddy. Cheated out of his education by his tired mom. Bad mommy, bad!

He still surprises me with how clever he is, though. Today we were going to pick up my husband and I said "Okay, let's go get Daddy". Buddy ran right to the door! I let him out and said "Okay, let's go to the car" and he ran right to my car (there were three vehicles in the driveway) and waited for me to let him in!! I was a proud mommy.

Can't wait to hear how the rest of Dakota's classes go! We'll attend vicariously through you guys.
