Frisbee (Lhasa apso)- I was 5 people, come on! lol

Elvis (Lab/Irish Wolfhound mix)- I don't even know...

Sydni (Australian Cattle Dog)- I thought it was cool because Sydney is in Australia, but I didn't want to spell it the same way

Mia (St. Bernard/Collie Mix)- She had the name when I adopted her

And that is all of the dogs that I've had in my lifetime, except for the 3 I have now Mollie, Frodo, and Izzy.

As an adult on my own...

They'd be too numerous to list ALL of them!!!

Catfish -- white cat I got at 9 months old. Owners went to the petstore to get fish and ended up with a kitten, so called him Catfish! They called him "Fish" (yuck). He was forever my "Catfish"... lived to be 15.

Eli -- registered name = Hawthorn Hill's Elijah. Grammy whelped him and he went home with me at 8 weeks old. Lived to be 12. He was my heart baby.

Yogi -- yellow lab I got through lab rescue. Died one year before Eli. Probably 10 years old (he had been a stray when I got him).

Hunter -- yellow lab I got out of the shelter the night before he was to be PTS!!!! He's GREAT!

Ruby -- emaciated torti Mamma cat I rescued with 6 starving babies. Found homes for all the babes when they were of age, but just HAD to keep one.

Bitty -- Ruby's baby I kept. I'm guessing they're 10 and 11 years old about now. (she was the runt, but now she's a big ole plump pissant!)

Brisben -- a.k.a. Brizzy. My new husband's boy who's almost 15 -- named after Brisbane AUS but he wanted to spell it phoenetically. 1/2 lasa apso (sp) and 1/2 whatever you want him to be!

Oprah -- new husband's black cat who's 1/2 siamese... and has the MOUTH of a siamese!!! She's 10.

Tigger---She was my golden retreiver. As a puppy, she bounced everywhere she went.

Tank--Enormous BYB pit bull. Absolute marshmellow of a dog, but was built like a brick. Hence the name. I wanted to name him Sherman (as in Sherman tank), but hubby said it reminded him of the boy on Rocky and Bullwinkle, LoL.

Odin--Rott/husky, with some wolf in him. He had a hard start in life--dumped at the shelter, badly emaciated and only 8 weeks old. We decided he needed a big, powerful name to give him confidence. At first, it was kind of a funny name for a clumsy, skinny puppy. He grew into an absolutely gorgeous, powerful dog. The name fit him perfectly.

Zeus--Hubby wanted to keep to the god theme, and liked the name.

Voodoo--he's a heathen Louisiana dog! What else could I name him? ;)

Chicky - copper & white Siberian husky I had as a young child that my cousin's dog had. He was gorgeous and a great furpal but we rehomed him as a city home wasn't fair to him. I named him after my aunt.

AB - black & tan hound I got when I was a teenager and he stayed with my parents when I moved south until he passed from old age. I don't remember which one of my family came up with his name.

Herbie - fawn great dane/boxer stray I found when I lived down south. He came home with us but couldn't adapt to apartment life. A good friend who lived on a farm took him and he lived a happy, long life. He just looked like a Herbie to me.:)

Samson - fawn Great Dane I got from the local shelter and lost at approx. 11 yo to bloat. I felt he needed a name that fit his magnificence.

Shadow - flat coated retriever/? mix - she was pure black. She got her name because my hubby didn't know I had gotten her & she was sleeping in the shadowy corner for over an hr. when he got home & he didn't see her until she woke up & came wandering out.:)

Elgin - harlequin Great Dane who we helped to the Bridge at 10 due to many health problems. He came named.

Rufus - collie/samoyed - he was cream with all the sammy fur. He was a sweetheart who we lost at about 10 to cancer. My hubby named him and it really fit his personality.

And now I have Farley & Chloe.:) Hubby named Farley & I named Chloe.

Past dogs:

Lol...I really didn't have a say in most of my previous dogs' names as I was really young when we had most of them.

Charlie - Male German Shepherd Dog, came with his name.

Harley - Female Siberian Husky, came with her name.

Sabi (pronounced Sab-ee) - Male Rottweiler not sure how he got his name.

Bianca/Bonky - Female Rottweiler, retired show dog named by her breeder. We called her Bonky most of the time as it suited her more.

Tuffy - Male Bichon Frise, honestly am not sure how he got his name. All I know is that the had called him Tank because he was the biggest in the litter and there was no way we were keeping that name.

Skye - Female Dalmatian, I chose her name.

Jesse - Female Miniature Dachshund, came with her name.

Echo - Female Rottweiler, my Mom and I chose her name because she always 'talked' back to us.

I could be missing some of my family's past dogs as I was either really young or not around when my parents had them.
----
Current dogs:

Tia - Female Miniature Dachshund, my Mom named her. Not sure how she came up with her name though.

Tango - Female Toller cross, I named her. To make a long story short, I wanted my first Toller to be named 'Tango' and eventhough she wasn't purebred, she was the closest thing I was going to have to a Toller for a whiel and it suited her.

Winston - Male Doberman Pinscher, came with his name.

Morgan - Female Rottweiler, came with her name. It suited her and we couldn't think of anything else.

First dog as baby .. "Perro "... Gs/wolf ... "Tony "... Irish Setter..... "Point "Golden retriever.... "Chien "... Boxer ... " Chip " ... golden after that all Goldens,,..Rufus " " Penny " ." Roxie " " Bambi " Copperfox" , Bushwacker"," Bear " , " I.B " , " Bubba " and " Chip " and now my Ollie ... Golden/Cheesie mix. I've been blessed in my 73 years to have had 16 fuzzys... many over lapped so I had a baby and an oldster, I loved them all ... and all their off springs. I really feel I learned more from them , than I taught them.
