JAZZ WOULD BE A GOOD NAME. COULD STAND FOR JASMINE IF PUPPY IS FEMALE OR JUST JAZZ IF NOT. LIKE ALL THAT "JAZZ" HAVING A NEW PUPPY IS LIKE HAVING A NEW BABY. I LOVE THINKING OF THE OBAMA FAMILY ENJOYING THEIR PET.

Well, the term "Adopt" was used over "Buy",so maybe it will be a rescue dog? Not sure how many PWD rescues there are out there.

Well, I just heard on the ABC Nightly News that the First Lady called in, and told them, no, that was her choice as reported by People, and there are 4 total votes in their house, so they are still undecided. This annoys me.

I'm not sure why it should be annoying. Someone's choice of dog for their household should be a personal decision and the fact that the press is rushing out to announce a dog breed speaks for a really slow news day on their part

I'm just glad they didn't pick some god-awful "'doodle." Personally, I think the names the girls picked out were cute! I quite like Frank. Or maybe, since the decision was probably swayed by Ted Kennedy, the could call the dog Ted or Teddy. I'm sure whatever they decide on will be cute though.
