This is a dog that lives in a kennel at my work. She's a pittie/pit mix and around 4-5 years old judging from her teeth. They said a customer dropped her off there a year ago, pregnant, and never came back. The woman called a couple months later and went, "oh by the way, you can have her" and was never heard from again.
She is super sweet, and a bundle of energy, but they really want her gone and into a home. She lives in a kennel there 24/7.
They said she is a food guarder around her food. She's crate trained (obviously), and she's never been tried around kitties. She's been walked around dogs, and never seemed to have a problem with them.
They said someone there took her home awhile back for the day, and that she escaped from their 4 foot wire fence when she was left alone. Which, for a pittie, isn't a big task.
I took a couple pics of her today with my cell phone. Quality is bad, but you get the idea. She's around 40-45 pounds, not too big. And just a gigantic love bug.
If anybody here wants to give her a home, and quick (because I don't plan on being with this job very much longer... ) let me know. They said otherwise, she's destined to live out her days in that kennel in the back room because all the rescues turned them down (which I figured, as most here do not want a pittie).
