Photoshop....Which One?

I use CS2, I was given the option of upgrading to CS3 but I really hate CS3... so I'm sticking with my old version!

Keep in mind that any file created in CS3 will more than likely NOT be compatible with older versions, unless you really know what you're doing. Just a word of caution, that's all.

Sure it would, why wouldn't it? A jpg is a jpg regardless of what opens it.

And if you save it as the photoshop format, as long as you don't use any special CS3 stuff then you're fine. CS3 wasn't that big of an upgrade.

I use PS 6 and have been for a long time... It'd be really nice to be able to use the updated ones, but I don't want to spend that much money.

Doesn't GIMP result in lower quality pictures though? That's what I heard, anyway.

You can always create an 8-bit, save to the puter then open in any older program of PS. Just a thought.
