So, like Reggin, we are having trouble coming up with a girl name. We have the boy name picked out, Cohen Joseph.

The girl name, we can't agree. I know that I want the middle name to have Kay in it somewhere (my middle name, and my mother's middle name), but I don't like just Kay. I also don't want anything "trendy" like Kaylee, Kaytlin, etc. The first name we have no clue. I want something unique, but still cute and easy to prounounce.

Any suggestions? What do you think about the boy's name?

Kayla? It's an older name that I don't hear much anymore (besides when I call my 2 friends who have that name...but they are in their 30's ;) )

LOL. I'm the same way. I've had a few names I liked ruined by the people already with that name.

I really like Kaylin. I thought about using it for a girls name, but decided it would be too close to my name (Kalee)

I had thought about using Kaylin, but I am not sure I *love* it. I also like Kaydence, but again, I don't LOVE it.

I like Kaycee... whoever reccomended that.

Something with an "M" as a first name... then you can call her "MK".

I'm so particular when it comes to names. I only like legitimate names that are spelt correctly.

A couple of legitimate names are:

Kayin
Kayleen

Both of which mean pure.

And I also like Kaylin, though it's getting pretty trendy. As is Kayla.

I know it doesn't start with 'Kay' but my next Collie will be Keeva. I love that name. :)

For the middle name what about going a different route? Instead of having it start with Kay, why not have Kay be at the middle or end?

Mikayla for example. It is the only name I can think of right of right now but I am sure there's more.

Me! I've always loved that name for a girl and I've loved that spelling for it. But again, I had a friend steal right out from under me. I seriously need to quit sharing names. :p

I just heard on the news about a woman who agreed with her husband that she would pick the baby's first name , and he could pick the middle . Didn't hear the son's name ... but she chose Brooke for their daughter and he picked Trout for her middle name !

I like Kayin. I also thought about Kaya (K-eye-ah), but it seems more like a first name. Growing up, my grandma always called me Katie (because of my middle name), but it just doesn't work as a middle name IMO.

Hmm, I hadn't thought about incorporating Kay into the name other than at the beginning.

I like the name Kaylon :D

Do you have a first name picked out? It's easier to come up with a middle name once you can tell how it'll flow with the first name.

What are your thoughts for a first name? It may depend on how it sounds with the first name.
