Of the snow!

It was fine for the first couple of weeks, despite the roads being disastrous and like an ice rink, but now I am a bit fed up of it all!

I'm fed up of my house looking like a team of elephants have trudged through it without wiping their feet.. Fed up of the salt that comes off the roads and leaving white marks all over the tiles. I'm fed up of not being able to DO anything outside.. The horses have had enough too, plus with nothing else to eat they are storming through my hay stock at an alarming rate!

I'm fed up of frozen water buckets, having to wear wellingtons which I despise.. And I am starting to get cabin fever!!

And the weather forcast has announced either MORE snow, or just freezing rain.. Joyous!

Roll on spring!

You're not alone Louie.........not at all! I think we *may* have more snow ALREADY this year than we got all last winter  I'd have to check those facts to be sure, but we've been dumped on HARD and REPEATEDLY!

I am sick of shoveling, sick of scraping ice, and sick of salting the sidewalk only to have it tracked into the house

agree, Louie! we're supposed to have a little warm-up, and I have *almost* promised to then not complain about mud. of course I will, cause snow is a pain...but it's clean! (we have no salt here, but I understand what you're talking about...yuk!)

I'm so jaded from frigid temps now that if the sun pops out and it's 20 (F)...I scream how gorgeous it is. LOL!

:rofl1:

Not too long ago we got 5 feet up here near Lake Tahoe. (Yes, that's five feet ... it's not a typo.) 'Bout a week later we another foot on top of that. Last year we got a lot more than this year.

'Course it's that nice, powdery dry snow.....

Well it would appear someone was listening, sort of... It rained ALL night long, so most of the snow has now gone, what's left is just slush.. NICE!!

Joy, now instead of snowy deposits in the house I am going to have serious MUD! :rofl1:

I suppose I should be a bit more careful what I wish for! lol.

Looks like flooding season is on it's way, the river will burst it's banks undoubtably, and what was icey and snowy will now be muddy.. Oh well, can't have it all I suppose!

Ugh I know what you mean. Instead of rain this morning though we are getting even MORE snow. And I just checked the forcast. Neither is it going above freezing for the next 7 day nor is there a day it wont snow on.
Or road has about 5cm of Ice on it, another 10 or 15 of snow and is just a joy to drive on. =/ Im waiting for the day someone crashes into our fence =(
