Eagle Pack is great dog food. I've had mine on the holisitc Eagle Pack for about 2-3 years. It has solved alot of his allergy problems.
Congrats on your dog, he is beautiful.

Oh, he IS a DOLL!

And don't worry about switching foods slowly when you're going to a much better quality food. Go ahead and just switch. You can give him some canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling - just plain canned pumpkin) if he gets the runs. It will firm things up in a day or two.

Finally, here are the pics! Warning: several posts with pics :D

Okay, here they are:
This is from our first meeting, just after romping around a bit to tire him out for the drive. Jean Luc and I:

Settled into the back of the car, though for a while he chose to sit behind the doggie bed my grandma made for him as in this picture, but later he slept on it:

The drive to get him was beautiful, we took some back highways that wound around through the mountains, with lots of mossy trees and amazing scenery:

More pics, yummy!

He'd been sleeping in straw, so was really dusty and dirty, so we gave him a bath. Pre-bath pic with Brad:

During bath (not too happy, but well behaved):

Romping around like he'd been stung by a happy-bee after the bath:

Mostly last ones, for now at least....

Charging me to jump up and be petted:

The successful jump and petting:

Tuckered out sleeping on the couch (I'm sure it's HIS couch now, he's claimed it, grin):

Aw, Chief must have been a great dog!
And we will / are having a great time with him. Even the 4:00am diarrea wake up calls, we knew what we were getting into! :)
