So, this guy :

is coming to live with us in a week . (I thought it was last week but apparently I got the day mixed up and the owners want him at the house to "protect" it while they are still there  ) His name is Bear but I don't really think it suits him. I need a good weather name to go with Sunny, Stormy and Nimbus. Tim is still imagining that this guy is a temp. (that is what he said about Nimby and she's still here, but has a home lined up in August with a good friend of ours, finally. The other place hasn't worked out, and the thread about needing a transport can probably be deleted...) However I'm guessing that won't last long. Tim is already fairly smitten, and is going on and on about how smart and cute Bear is, and how wrong it is that the people that got him don't want him anymore, and that it's awful he hasn't been trained. (this from the guy who didn't really like dogs when we got Sunny...:rofl1: )

So, all that being said, help me give Bear a new name to go with his new brother and sisters. :)

what about Zeus, the king of gods, who controlled rain, thunder, and lightning.

or MOLAN: Irish name meaning "servant of the storm."

Bora: A cold, northerly wind blowing from the Hungarian basin into the Adriatic Sea

Diablo: Northern California version of Santa Ana winds. These winds occur below canyons in the East Bay hills (Diablo range) and in extreme cases can exceed 60 mph

I could find tuuuns more but ill stop... :)

How about El Nino?
hm. in a highly Spanish speaking part of town, I'm pretty sure I'd get odd looks running down the street yelling "El Nino, HEEL!" :rofl1:

Oh, and keep them coming... I haven't seen one that seems to "fit" just right, but I really don't think bear suits him either.

That would be awesome! :lol-sign:

My dad swears he's naming his next dog Stay. He said he's always wanted a dog named Stay.
