I see chaz allows postings for dog-related artwork and commissions, right? (I hope so!) If not, please actually let me know and I will take down all this jazz.

I'm a concept artist and illustrator (environment and character design), in my final year at Calarts, but have been freelancing from private commissions to projects for studios for the past few years. I've gotten interest here and there for a few months in doodling up some pet portraits and caricatures for other owner's dogs and cats, ever since posting a couple of me and my dogs!

It's always a ton of fun to draw people's beloved puppers and kitters... to loosen up with something adorable away from my actual work-related projects, so... just stating that I am open for all kinds of animal portrait or landscape painting commissions.

If you would like one, please send me some photos of your dog/cat and what they enjoy doing that you would like me to portray, and I'll try my best to express their individual personalities. Or if you'd like the environment paintings with your dog involved, let me know too!

Prices will range depending on how many animals requested and what art style you would like! Fun things!

All pet doodles (like the one below of Rara) are a fixed $30 per animal.

Such an amazing feel to your work that's difficult to describe and rare to find. Can't wait to see more, and still keeping an eye out for those Laika movies

heheh I agree that the prices are a little underselling- but I'm happy to draw for cheaper for fellow animal lovers on chaz. Outside of Chaz or dog bloggers, ~$50 for the doodles would be ideal enough!

Psst, I pretty much charge differently depending on who the client is- an individual person/friend or for a studio or business-related. For studios and the like, I currently don't go below $6,000 for a group of 30 storybook illustrations, for example, but I'd prefer $8000. So no worries! Heheh

I still charge more than that, and I am in no way as skilled as you! LOL. And that's not me trying to undervalue myself - I have skill - but you have more training and background in art, especially where landscapes and backgrounds are concerned. I'm currently studying perspectives and landscapes as a side education because I suck so hard at them. :rofl1:

Aw! Maybe I will raise prices... cackles.. xD Most of my audience online isn't dog/pet-oriented for commissions, so I find I need to have a bit of a lower price for them to get enough interest- except for on Chaz! LOL But maybe that doesn't make sense hahaha
