Movie or book first?

I finally got to read the Hobbit, and, well... I found it extremely boring. I guess it's the first time I find myself bored by a book after seeing a movie.

I'm more of a movie person. I don't read a ton honestly. I used to more. So a lot of times I'll see a movie and not even realize it was a book first

Movies. I am just not a reader. I can't take the time to sit down and read like I can to sit down and watch a movie, as much as I'd like to be able to.
