This morning i woke up to a cocophony of birds..so loud it was almost a roar.
I love this time of year when the sky is full of thousands upon thousands of different kinds of birds..not that you can tell from a distance. They line the high wires and make the skies look like they are full of a plague of locusts. For weeks now they have been what i assume to be "practicing" flying first a few hundred feet one way and then the reverse. They look like fish in the sea to me when they do that. One day they will just be gone..you will see the long trails and I always sing bye bye blackbird with the children and we wave. i have to wonder what it would be like if humans had to do that, Can't you just see us all out there running 500 ft one direction...then 500 feet the opposite..lining the curbs and chattering away? :D

Thats funny Smkie, picturing us humans making practice runs, except we'd all be arguing on how to do it and who would be in charge!:D
