lol.. My mom, the one who never *really* liked dogs and was afraid of them and didnt want to know anything about them is suddenly the expert.
We just ran to my aunts Shop for a few minutes to bring her lunch (she is a hairdresser) And my aunts SIL with the new Puppy mill yorkie came in and started talking about this Lab that was likes to attack people and is runing loose all the time. And She said that She smacked her MALE dog for lifting his leg to PEE!
Before I got to chime in mom started going off about how there is No bad dogs, just bad owners so It isnt the labs Fault and Blah blah blah And that she shouldnt be punishing her dog, especially since lifting of the leg is what a male dog is supposed to do And its a instinct.
lol.. yay mom.. And she proceeded In telling her that she is one of those Bad owners for smacking her dog.
I knew I could convert her! She comes home from work raving and ranting about how her coworkers mistreat their dogs. Especially one lady, who is so so so nice but she keeps 4-5 breeder labs in tiny little outdoor kennels 24/7.. They literaly NEVER get out unless they die or she brngs them in to get PTS.
I catch her recomending good food. Im so proud I could cry.
She is doing so well with kacee, She will even Pet her now. She pulls away If kacee tries to lick her. Thats one thing she cant get past with large dogs is the big sloppy tongues :rofl1:
