Ah, I took her potty and when she peed, something gooey came out, well, she freaks, and sits in the DIRT to get at it, I make her go back in the house, she does. So she cleans herself, lays down, keeps trying to roll on her backconstantly, guess to get the pressure off her stomache, gets up, spins, lays, gets up , spins, lays, does this like a million times, Im thinking ok, here we go......she falls back asleep.

The irnoy???Im just laying on a make shift bed by her, trying to sleep off this 3 day headache.........and I get my monthly.......are we in sync or what???

Yeah, hair color, 4 hour massage, xanax, what ever.......Im fixin to call the vet again. Id tak her out more, but if she only pushes when she is pottying, I dont really want to chase her around the yard w/ towels in hand........

anyway............going back on watch.........

I am so just guessing on this, but maybe she's confusing the urge to push for puppies with having to go potty?

She has been housebroke since 5 months. I THINK, she is definatly confusing the baby thing w/ pottying. She doesnt want to "potty" in the house, so she wont push.

Guess she will have to sooner or later.........

Her entire birth canal in trembeling like crazy.........

The first time she discharged anything while going potty, it was clear/white color. The second time, it was clear w/ a real(Loss for words) I say Id compare it to a kids snotty nose:) Kinda slimy and when the kids wipes it, it stretches!!! (I know, but honeatly, thats what it looked like!)She came in and cleaned it up. I took her temp right after that, and did not notice ANY smell what so ever, good or bad...nothing.

Why?Is this bad? Do I need to call the vet??

Her eyes are soooooooo red.

She's probably stressing pretty hard, can you blame her though? :) Aubrey's eyes get really red when she's stressed.

She is likely still in stage one.

Stage 2 will involve heavy panting, with intermittent obvious contractions. Most bitches will really freeze and visibly stiffen, stop breathing, etc, during a contraction.

If stage 2 goes on for more than an hour, THEN you need to call the vet.

Yep be careful when she asks to go out, take a towl with you, dogs get easily confused with the urge to push and the urge to go to the toilet, I said no the last time jessika sked to go and and sure enough a pup came a few min later, its all about knowing your dog

Ok got that. No panting yet, but every so often, her breathing really sounds labored, and she gurgles, changes positions, then is ok for awhile.

So when the panting and OBVIOUS contractions start, give her about an hour to push one out, if not, call the vet.right???I notice alittle more discharge on her blanket right now.

Ok, bah bye -for a little bit

Also if you see dark jade green discharge or bloody discharge and there has been no puppy yet, call the vet.

Also watch for excessive licking like she is cleaning herself. But I agree with red about calling the vet. I think it is 1 pup an hour safely, if she labors and delivers then stops also call the vet. Do you know how many there are? I tought I saw a post here with an xray of a preg mommy but cant remember who it was. Just keep a close eye on her like I know you are doing. You will have puppies soon my dear.
