So today Karma had her dock dogs debut! Super proud of my puppy and seriously can't wait to see what she's like in the future!
Anywho during our first wave Karma didn't jump(we couldn't get in a practice jump either because someone hogged the dock). There were a few times she looked like she was about to, but then the crowd would start cheering and that freaked her out a bit causing her not to want to jump which happened both times...
Now fast forward to the 2nd wave. This time we got to get in some practice jumps and We finally got her to jump! She jumped maybe three times which was fantabulous and I was ecstatic as was everyone else who had been watching! Then came to the 2nd wave and well Karma decided it was a no go. Again the whole cheering thing freaked her out plus this time they tried to entice her by bringing out the net to get her toy and what not and that freaked her out even more *sigh* So 2nd wave was a bust, but over all I am extremely happy with her and this was a great experience! After talking with some friends we all agreed her nervousness/reluctance to jump was due to the crowd and stress of being in such an overwhelming environment, but I'm super stoked we got her off the dock and couldn't be happier! It was a great first experience for her
