Mia can now open locked doors. I thought it was a fluke the first time, and then the second, third, fourth and fifth. Now after the 6th escape I'm thinking Mia has found a way to unlatch the door of her pen and her kennel. This time she didn't even just leave it at freeing herself, she also let Nard out and the two proceeded to poop in the floor and tear the snot out of a fake potted plant.

The world will end soon.

I find it hilarious that Mia didn't just let herself out, but she let out NARD too. :rofl1:

Well look at that not only do they break out but Mia left you a present as well. The next thing you know she will be teaching Nard how to escape on his own. :rofl1:

I guess you don't have "Mainstream" dogs. :D

First :rofl1: :rofl1: @ the diabolical little wench!

Then: For her own safety (and the safety of Nard or whoever she chooses to release next time) you better put an extra little lock of some sort on anything she is placed in. Even one of those little "diary" locks or a twist tie will probably be enough to foil her evil doings.

*still chuckling* But I'm glad they just poohed in the floor and tore up a fake plant..........they could have eaten/swallowed something harmful or done much worse to the house.

I suspect we will be hearing Mia stories for quite some time--LOL. Do you tell her breeder these stories? She may not want to repeat that breeding, for fear of world domination by little Mia paps!

Welcome to my world. Emma knows how to open doors and crates. No food is safe. At least Mia is only doing damage, and not eating herself sick. Right?

We walked in and I see dead plant everywhere and Nard staring at me and wagging his tail. I go "Uh... wasn't Nard locked up?" And my dad from the kitchen, "Well, wasn't Mia locked up?"
:yikes:

I KNOW! I know he didn't do it because we've been locking him up for well over a year and never once has he even tried escaping. Get Mia home and she's opening doors all over the place.

Then: For her own safety (and the safety of Nard or whoever she chooses to release next time) you better put an extra little lock of some sort on anything she is placed in. Even one of those little "diary" locks or a twist tie will probably be enough to foil her evil doings.
Already done. We had a clasp closing the door too but she's gotten past that. Now we're experimenting with additional locks. My dad is convinced Mia is actually a JRT (his old one was a master escape artist too). He now believes me when I say she's a MESS. Way too smart for her own good.

Let's see...

she can climb out of an ex pen. We put a lid on it, she unclipped it and squeezed through a gap. Then we locked that up, she figured out how to open the door. Then we kenneled her and she let herself out there again.

:yikes: OMG........it makes me laugh, but I know it isn't safe, LOL

Hopefully you can get something figured out before she creates some REAL havoc or emergency.
