We have 2.5 acres and live in a pretty rural area so there are many stray dogs in the neighborhood. Many times when I take Grizz to go out in the morning there is fresh stray dog poop near the front door. I left his frisbee out one day and they pooped on that too. We usually don't see them but over the weekend we saw quite a big pack, it looked like 4 small dogs, 2 medium and 2 big dogs.
Anyway, when playing frisbee Grizz has certain paths he HAS to take. And they change. We usually play on the side of the house where the carport is. We usually throw the frisbee from the carport, usually he comes right to the carport, if he happens to walk thru the carport with out dropping the Frisbee he has to walk the rest of the way thru then around the outside and come back again (he makes a complete circle). Lately he has been walking around the bushes all the way by the road and he will usually poop there. So I guess heres my question, is he OCD or is this normal dog behavior or is he trying to get his scent over more of the property since I know stray dogs have been marking. He has been pooping more than usual to (normal poop) but sometimes after work I will let him out and he will poop and then half hour later he will do it again. Is this him marking his territory? I haven't changed his food. I have started training with him again to reinforce the "come" command.

Pooping is sometimes marking. Saga, for instance will ONLY poop along our fence line, not in the middle of the yard and more often than not, she will poop on the side of the yard that has other dogs on the other side of the fence.

Nah, not OCD, just a dog. Who knows what they think 90% of the time.
