Hi Chazs...

I just got back from a friend who spent last night $530 on an emergency check up and some pills for a week time. the poor dog didn't drink for the whole day, and he had some food poisoning.

Thank god the dog is fine, and nothing big happened here. but imagine we could prevent our dog future health problem, and not go to the vet at the middle of the night, and spend a fortune.

What actions can we take today?
I made a small research, and I am not saying we can prevent it all, but there are things we can do in order to minimize the risk.

You can read more at my blog, and I am wishing your dogs and mines all the health in the world!

I don't understand your post either sorry, yes I agree there are steps you can take to prevent many problems, such as keeping dogs indoors (during evenings and other high infestation times) to prevent heartworm infections, but how did the dog get food poisoning in the first place?

Prevention is always better than the cure, and you should always know what your dog is eating (unless) he's a run-away!

AJ..
