Just found this site, its great! I have been frequenting Molosser only sites for a while now. I have two dogs. One is a 5 year old Olde English Bulldogge, we've had him since he was 10 weeks. We flew to Mississippi to get him. The other is our new addition. She is a 4 month old St. Bernard pup. We have had her since she was 12 weeks. We got here while in GA visiting family.

I have attched some pics below.

Beautiful dogs - the bulldog looks fantastic... I have a huge folder full of postcards from 1900's - one had a bulldog on it, and it amazes me what people pass off as a "bulldog" these days - NOTHING like the dogs from past.

Your fella looks capable of at least chasing a bull ;)

Just another breed the AKC has ruined. Those dogs they try to say are Bulldogs is a laughable impersonation. I feel sorry for those dogs, they can barely climb stairs.

Thanks for the complimnets!

Well, I have one of "those" bulldogs and I should make the point that she can indeed climb stairs, run faster than any dog I've met and to date has had zero health problems. But hey, what a poor, poor dog.

Exception to every rule.......
My OEB is on the bullier side of that breed and he has issues in the heat and with LONG runs. Others with OEB that I know can Jog for miles.
Variances within every breed.

Exactly, that is why I don't like generalized statements about breeds.

Your dogs are beautiful.

Your right. and thanks!

I was just staing that the AKC has ruined this breed. Could you imagine just 30 years before the AKC became interested in the breed they were athletic enough to kill bulls? Look at some of the older photos.
