Hey guys, my dog Syrius has a small hairless spot on his head, is this serious? there's no bruise or anything, the skin is clean. Will the hairs grow again? Can somebody help? It doesn't look serious but if you know such symptoms, I'll have to bring him to the vet. They'll have to go for a check-up soon anyway.

Probably some kind of mange. I had that happen on a snout of my guy.

One day in one spot all hair just fell out and took about half a year to grow back in. Check with vet if you can just to be sure it doesnt spread all over his body.

My Cocker gets hot/dry spots on her back often  Sometimes its a bacterial infection and easily treatable. I have cream from the vet that I keep handy at home to treat Sadie.

My dog once had a small bald spot from a scab that fell off and took the hair with it. I think the original injury was from a tooth mark from rough play with our other dog. It wouldn't hurt to ask a vet though.:D

Tips had one on his leg when he was 3 months old. It took a few months to heal. I also suggest showing it to the vet to make sure it's not round worms, mange, or some bacteria.
