I'm curious. I e-mailed them for more info. Some of their food looks good enough to eat!

Hmmm....I just saw this:

Myth: Vitamin C is the new cure-all wonder vitamin for dogs.
FACT: Unlike humans, dogs produce their own vitamin C. Not only is supplementing a dog's diet with Vitamin C bad, it may even lead to kidney and/or liver malfunctions or failure.
I have to say, I haven't heard that one before.

I actually read the Vitamin C thing in my "Raw Dog Food" book by Carina Beth Macdonald.

I think. It could have been another book...

I'm not entirely sure, but I remember reading that humans, guinea pigs, monkeys, and some bats are the only mammals that cannot produce their own Vitamin C. I had a guinea pig when I was younger, and we had to give him oranges and vitamin C

I'm assuming that it doesn't hurt to suppliment with Vitamin C, but it's not necessary as their bodies do produce it. However, I'm not entirely sure on this.

I find it interesting and wonder how it is they know exactly what every breed of dog needs and how they were able to scientifically determine the differences.
