I have to leave Ally for almost a week *cry*

So i'm going away in like 2 weeks for about a week and I have to leave Ally with my freind Jen. I just left her for 2 days with my grandma and got really sad.

What are some ways i can fell better when I'm gone?

I need your help.

I know how you feel. I went to Mexico a couple of weeks ago, and I had to leave my 3 dogs with my parents. I was sad at first about it, but then I thought about how much fun they were having.

Bring some pictures of Ally with you, and just think of how excited she'll be to see you when you get home!

Back in the 60s and 70s I went to Quebec every summer for a month with the kids and " kenneled " my Goldens . Luckily it was with my Golden mentor and they were inside outside dogs with TLC. They were accepted as family members and all was well .... but Lord I missed them !!!!

I agree with Grammy. You have no idea how much it will help knowing they are having bunchs of fun running, playing, and getting taken care of while you are gone.

I have to leave Auggie for five days next week, and it's going to be horrible. The only time we've ever been apart is the night he stayed at the animal hospital after his neuter.
At least you're leaving him with somebody you trust, right? I don't trust my dad with my dog and have to just hope like mad my mother won't let him do anything stupid... I'm going to be calling home EVERY. NIGHT. to check on him.

Definitely take photos - or don't if looking at them will make you miss her even more (I know it will for me!) I like Jessie's advice of thinking about how happy she will be when you get home!!

JEN!! Just kidding I don't care, but I'm always willing to watch her when you Go someplace . Has ally met m&m and her dog yet?

I always feel sad when I have to leave them, This week I have to leave the cats from Tuesday 'til Friday and I'm dreading it, I don't think my brother will do a great job. I know he'll feed them but I worry about the litter box, playing and loving (and the lizard, gerbil and fish care). At least you know Jen has animals so she knows what she's doing, plus Ally will have fun with her dog. Call Jen every once in a While to see how Ally is. I haven't seen Ally in FOREVER she's 1 year now right?
