That's the great things about when kids get sick.... they may get sick fast, but they tend to get better even faster once they're over the hurdle of the sickness. I'm so glad he's feeling better. Maybe he'll start to drink some more.

well, im at class and my mom just called and said he spiked a fever of 101.3 .... I instructed them to give him tylenol and call me back in half an hour to give me an update. If it doesnt go down, Im gonna have them put him in the sink with tepid bathwater... poor kid.

I'm glad to hear that he is starting to feel better. Too bad about the fever again, hopefully it will pass quickly.

Fever went back down about 30 minutes after the tylenol and he perked up and even ate some supper! He seems to be feeling better again... im going to continue th Tylenol/motrin rotation through the night though and we'll see where we stand in the morning.

I wouldn't put him in a tepid bath unless you can't get the fever down. Is he drinking anything yet? The poor little fellar.... I hope he gets to feeling better.

the fever went down with the tylenol. I was saying that IF it didnt go down with the tylenol that I was going to have them put William in a tepid bath.
I hope he feels better soom too! but at least today he has had energy and is eating. He also drank a little as well, not a WHOLE lot, but some, more than the past few days.

Oh, I'm sorry... I thought you were saying you were going to put him in a tepid bath for a fever of 101.3 I've had to resort to a tepid bath a few times when a temp was over 104 and just not coming down with the tylenol and motrin. I hate it when kids get sick, they are so miserable and have the most sad eyes I ever see. Maybe he's getting past the worst of it now. Don't be alarmed if his fever goes up and down.. grammy is right, it's just his body's way of fighting off the bugs he's been exposed to.
