I got Bear's biopsy results

Basically it was not helpful at all. They did not give any information about what's going on with Bear's nose. So they are sending his file to a dermatologist and see if they can find out what could be happening.

So I have to wait until this coming Monday to get more information. So he's stuck in this E collar a while longer. So coming monday I get to play phone tag again. They actually never called me with the results. I called when they opened this morning and again said they would have the vet call. My normal vet was not in though. So I never heard from them and had my husband stop by there after work and find out what was going on.

So that's it. Wish I knew more and had some better news. Like goodbye e collar. But I guess not right now.

me too... i usually get crazy and paranoid waiting for calls specially if im expecting some serious call like this...

He seems like he's doing better Jess. He's happier and trying to play fetch again. He's eating alot better too.

His nose looks like it's looking a little better. It's hard to say since the wound area has not decreased but his fur is starting to grow back. It's been a month since he was initially bitten by the fire ants. I can't wait for some news to see what is going on and hope he'll recover quickly.

If I were in your position, I might just find a new vet (if you have options). The vet I currently go to would never give me this run around. ((hugs)) and vibes for Bear.
