Gunnar is pretty ball crazy. My wife says he has OCD. It's not like he won't focus or listen to me, he definitely will, but I think he likes playing ball more than anything including dinner.

I had a dachshund, Harrison who passed away a year ago, who spent his entire 13 years of life fetching. Most of the time we wouldnt throw it, he would be carrying around hos fetch items all day, dropping them into the pond, barking at them, chewing on them, and it kept him healthy and happy.

I think you're lucky to have a dog who finds such entertaining ways to keep itself busy. Sounds like this dog could do wonders in agility , almost sounds like it could be trained for Sars regardless of the size. This dog sounds like it's mind is always busy, lucky you, self sufficient dog.
