Well, I talked to him when he got home from work.

He says he has no idea where those pictures came from and also says he doesn't know the person in them either.

Told me he thinks he may have opened some spam mail and they were in it or something like that. Is that possible?

I don't know what to think.

Yes, it can happen. I had a similar situation a month ago *know it wasn't anyone in the house that saved them...and he's not a good enough liar about stuff like that ;). * Anyways, if you know for a fact that it didn't come from your camera then you need to check the files and folders on your computer for any "names" these pictures, or similar ones, may be called. Delete whatever you find that you don't want. Also delete the temp cookies from your internet browser.

I don't know how pics get saved on a computer without specifically doing it...but I know it happened over here. It takes awhile to delete them all, but it's worth it if you don't want them taking up disk space or if you don't want anyone to find them or look at them.

Sorry Blue, but that stuff is crap. Believe me, I know.

You want good software, go get a trial from the http://www.avgantivirus.net website. If you an afford it, and you like the software, buy it.

Really some awsome stuff, I have used AVG for about 2 years now with no regrets. The place I got it from also, has great support for the products they sell (AVG, Counterspy, and some other stuff).

I recommend it highly!! Go try out that trial!

I work in tech-support, and have seen just about every scenario. I have never seen pictures being saved to a pc, in the pictures folder, or my documents from opening spam.

Mine were not in my documents of in a pictures folder. They were on the computer though and had not been saved by Tony or myself. I don't know if it was a temporary file or what, but they were sure as heck there.

Lab brings up a good point. There can be temporary image files saved but those are always in a folder named 'Temporary Files' or something like that. They wouldn't be in My Pictures.

Told me he thinks he may have opened some spam mail and they were in it or something like that. Is that possible?
It is possible, but unlikely. 99% of the time, if you open up a hot spam mail you're gonna get a virus, not random pictures.

After reading the first part of the thread again. Even though Tobysmom didn't say they were in a permanent folder...it seems they were from her camera (time stamped/date) and renamed (7,8,9). Thus, they were taken by someone's camera and were saved as numbers.
Tobysmom - Are these pictures in a specific file or folder? Are they in "my pictures" or a folder? Where are they saved at?
