Hello everyone im new to this site and a new dog owner as well, so i have a few questions ;P I jus got Autumn October 25th, she's 11 weeks old and has a rambunctious personality....she understands the concept of the wee wee pad but still has a few accidents :-/ and she likes to "talk back" when being disciplined after she bites on stuff and growls n pounces on ppl....what did some of u that raised puppies do in this type of situation?

The wee wee pads just take time... make sure you praise her everytime she goes on the pad and anytime you catch her going off the pad, yell NO, clap your hands and bring her to the pad... after awhile it will start to click in and she will learn to go on the pad... although I am still having a hard time with my yorkie mistaking area rugs for wee wee pads.
As far as the talking back... well you got what you asked for buying a morkie!
Malteses are known to be barky and Yorkies have their own little attitutudes... so your just getting a combination of both:yikes:.
When I reprimand my yorkie for biting he also likes to talk back and get more into it... so I started ignoring him rather then reprimanding him... I pull my hands away and all attention towards him stops until he calms down... this is starting to work better... he realizes if he gets to mouthy then he gets no attention.

I just have a question, Do you eventually want a housebroken dog that does his business outside? If that is your goal (especially with a smaller dog) then your best bet is to NOT use puppy pads and get up and take the dog outside. Since I don't know your living arangements it is quite possible that you would want your pup using puppy pads for his lifetime. ?
Although I could not imagine cleaning dog poo in my house for the lifetime of a dog.. It still seems that some people think that is the way to go.
But if you are using puppy pads as a step to outside "going' then I would skip the pads altogether. It should be easier in the long run.
The only other thing I have to mention is.... let her work for you... don't work for her.
