Hey I figured I'd give you guys some updates on how I'm doing...

Well I started College (I'm 19)...then I dropped out. I hate it, it's just not for me... Never was a great student when it came to the text books. I like learning through doing stuff. Well I have been considering different careers now and I've always had a passion for working with dogs ever since probably 7th grade I would say. After my parents basically talked me out of it as a profession I really haven't looked at it that way till now... I was thinking about going to Pennsylvania Dog Grooming School and then working under somebody as an apprentice for a while. Then save money and open up my own place. I am a guy, and no I'm not gay. I was thinking then I could get registered with that dog training association I forget the name of it and I could host dog training sessions at night time as a part time thing after working the dog grooming place. Just felt like sharing.

Sounds like you've got a good future forming! And don't worry, the stereotype of guy groomers being gay is silly and over-rated. People who actually assume such things really need to get out more. Good luck with everything!!! Another think you could look into is working at a kennel, whether it be a boarding kennel, breeding kennel, or even police K9 training kennel.

Sounds like your on the right track. Big business in the worlds of dogs. Hey they all have to look their best to. who said grooming is just for us girls

People need to get over stereotypes.
