How in the world do you get a 3 year old to stop grinding their teeth...???
Today William started to grind his teeth... but not like normal grinding... he clenches his jaw and "clicks" the bottom teeth back and forth. it seriouly sounds like he's going to do permenant damage!
I tell him "no" everytime he does it.. but it seems like he's making a game out of it now.

It sounds like he's crunching hard candy...

Probably not causing permanant damage.... although I'd imagine it is quite annoying.

Hard as it might be, ignore it- for now. I'm willing to bet that once you stop reacting to it, William will stop. The hardest thing might be getting other people to follow your lead and ignore it, too.

Wash his mouth with soap every time he does it? I bet he'd learn quick.
