help me pick a dog breed

hello, I have owned dogs for my whole life but I have just bought my own house and I want a new dog but I need some help deciding on a breed. the breed must meet most(all prefered) of these criteria.
- watchdog (not an aggressive guard dog but to bark to notify of intruders)
- must be able to learn basic commands
- medium-large breed
- average exercise maximum of two half an hour walks a day
- family pet - me and my fiancee are planning children in the next couple of years
- be able to live with cats

Hi,
You might be aware and might have been with breeds like german shepherds, Doberman, rottweiler but i am pretty sure you are not aware of breeds that match your mentioned criteria.Please check out poligar hound & Kombai dog also known as Indian rottwiler.

Boxer, Schnauzer, poodle. Stuff like being able to learn basic commands and able to get along with cats will be up to you to teach
