He is not a baby, now he must have about 6 years old, and he is insane!!!... as I say he has a pit-bull personality trapped in a French Poodle's body...he always likes to lie at peoples feet, but if for some mistake, you so much as get too close to him with your feet where he can feel the threat of a footstep...HE BITES!!!... he has bitten, me, my mom, all types of guest and much more, he also bites anyone who tries to give my mom a friendly KISS!!!.. And as soon as he comes in from the garden after doing his business, he fins a spot and wees some more!!!... WHAT CAN WE DO??...this is clearly a case that requires psychological HELP!!!

Sounds like your dog is running the household and has become the leader of your "pack".

The first thing you mom needs to do is get this dog signed up for some obedience classes where he will learn that he is not in charge and can not "own" your mother.

Secondly, I am guessing she babies this dog, and she needs to stop doing that. Do a search for NILIF, and start doing that as well.

Also, is the dog getting daily walks to burn energy and calm his mind? If not, start doing that as well.

Once a dog bites, and it appears your dog has bitten numerous times and for a long time, it's time for professional help. How long has this behavior been going on? There are so many reasons dogs bite and IMO, over the Internet for almost all cases, it is impossible to know just what's going on. A certified behaviorist who has a good reputation, who uses NO aversives to modify this kind of behavior can come into your home and observe the dog, the family, the scenarios or contexts and give you the help you need. I agree with more exercise, obedience classes and practice, controlling resources but this behavior has become entrenched for a while so you are going to need some hands on help where someone can observe the whole picture. Just my opinion. I do hope you get this sorted out. Let us know.

I take exception to your use of the term pit bull personality. My pitbull is the gentlest and sweetest dog. My tiny toy poodle is a terror.
