HELP!!! I need a Name

I am getting a GSD puppy in two weeks and I need a name. I know I should have told the breeder and she's been bugging me to pick a name, so that she can use it while the puppy is still with her, instead of calling him "blue puppy".

Ok, I am getting a male GSD who will be 8 weeks old when I get him. He is very mischevious and loves getting into things but at the same time he is very loving. I want a name with meaning behind it, not just some random name. But I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions? PLEASE!!!

PS, I don't like human names such as Jake, or Max, or Sam.

Meaning: "Be On the Look Out"

Hubby and I thought about naming Rocket that, but our young son had already told Rockets trainer we were naming her Rocket. And the trainer believed him. LOL
We didn't have the heart to change it again.

Police also use the word "Bolo".

As a breeder all my pups answered to " puppy " ...none really had a name at that age except for loving " kennel " names. It's nice that she cares, but don't rush !!!

hehe I LOVE the name Loki!! Riot would have been named that, but I found out that he has a cousin named Loki as well, so I figured he needed another name lol

Its a fairly easy call name as well because its two sylables and it ends in an "Eee" sound

What ever you come up with, he will know many names !!! Most names with more than one syllable gets shorten to one....

Riots name doesn't really have a "hidden meaning" to it. I wanted a "police" related name for him though because I'm training to become one. I named him Riot because of his Reg'd name(which I picked as well) Ravenmasque Summer Riot. He was a riot to have and I got him in the summer
