help! i dont know what this it..

okay so recently frodo had been playing with my friend's dog in her front yard and lately i've noticed that there is this fur sticked together , liek a size of a ring or something...and when i search wats behind his fur that made the fur stick together i've seen this green thing..i think the "puss" or somethign came out and made the fur sticky..frodo kept scratching it...anybody knows what this is?

First, clean it off with hydrogen peroxide, then you'll be able to get a better look at it and describe it better.

Cut the fur out at the site. If there was / is pus, there's infection. A thorn ?? Hot spots can cause the sticky ring, but I've never seen pus . yes, to the perixide.

Sounds like it could be a hotspot, too. There's definitely infection if there's green. I'd shave the area the best you can, apply peroxide then get an antibacterial ointment for it.

since he was playing outside, it could have just been a green worm or something he rolled onto. Did you find out what it was after cleaning???
