Just wanted to say hello to everybody. This is a great forum. Alot of interesting threads. We have two German Shepherds, a 19 month old male and an 11 month old female.
We are involved in a variety of activities with our GSD's. Both of them are advanced obedience dogs. Our male is also a herding dog. He just earned his first herding title this last weekend, which was his JHD. He will be going for his PT in a couple of weeks. He also does dock dogs/splash dogs. If your not familiar with dock dogs, it's a 40 ft dock and a 30 ft pool with a 5 ft drop from the dock to the pool. The object is for your dog to jump from the dock into the pool and retrieve an object that you throw into the pool. The jumps are measured for distance, and obviously the dog who jumps the furthest wins.
