We had our last session with the trainer this week. Although he is going to come to my first few sessions of agility class with me just to make sure Grizzley is still obeying. Tony (the trainer) said Grizz is doing awesome. I was having a really hard time getting Grizzley to not attack me while we were training. It was so bad Tony wanted to bring an e-collar over, which I didn't want any part of, finally figured out Grizzley would rather have his toy as a reward rather than treats. We have this blue football that make fart-like noises when squeezed and Grizz LOVES it. We had Grizzley in a down stay while Tony walked away with the toy and walked around the whole house (while squeezing it) and Grizz didn't budge an inch. Tony said he wanted to bring a video camera over to tape Grizz. If he is in a sit-stay I can walk about 20-30 feet away and have in go down, sit, down, sit. HOORAY...Praise :hail: to my trainer. I am so happy that I know I can handle him in class. Just wanted to brag a little bit.

Congrats its always nice to have success. I would be willing to bet that he will find the agility training much more fun and I often find their obedience goes through the roof. Because they want to play. Use the toys as much as possible for agility, it is a much better reinforcer than food.

Good luck
