Fred was adopted today! He is a chow who has some HORRIBLE looking fur!
Here is his petfinder page (they really need to update those ) http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=5832029
If you click on the picture you can see a bit of the missing fur on his tail.
This is the other dog (Quincy) they adopted because the guy wanted a dog to go and play fetch with: http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=5863258
He is a bit older and may have a thyroid issue and he got adopted! He was going to go to rescue but a lady came int odya and adopted Fred and another dog that may have knee problems! She said she had an acre of land and an older dog who would be prefect for Fred! Everyone at the shelter was worried fred would never get adopted because everytime they had a rescue that might take him they would come back and say no for one reason or another. Poor boy has been at the shelter for a while, but he was so sweet! And because of his fur and him being a chow he got passed up by a lot of people. But yes! I'm so happy!!! Fred really deserved a good home!!
