My dog who is about 9 years old started grunting when laying down and sometimes when she moves and position herself.
She's playing, eating, drinking and acting normal.
A few years ago, she had a tumor on her spleen which the vet removed. Ever since then, I've was taking her in every 3 months for complete bloodwork and x-rays just to make sure everything is ok with her.
Now I take her in every 6 months for complete bloodwork and x-rays. She was just in for her check up in November and everything was fine.
Could her grunting be because she's getting older? She also has alittle arthritis in her front paw. She been put on so many medicine for it but nothing seemed to work. Her paw turns in but that's how it's always been.
Any suggestions on why dogs grunt?
