No, not on my butt or of anything too interesting. I just had my eyeliner tatoos redone.

I just got home so they're VERY dark, red/sore looking and covered in ointment but once they're healed, no more makeup.:D My eyelashes aren't really gone, they're just stuck to my lids with vaseline...everything is so blurry.

I'll post pictures in a few days, it's kind of neat to see how they heal and look better every day. By 10 days they'll be the way they're going to stay.

And yep, it hurt like a somomabitch.....

Seriously, she did the bottom on one eye and I just about screamed 'UNCLE'.

I've had it done before and if you can take the pain...and believe me it's painful, it's worth it. This gal does post tramatic injury/reconstruction tat work and is the 'go to ' person for all the docs and has been doing it for 15 years....never an 'incident', so I felt pretty safe.

When I start scuba diving again so it'll be nice to have.

I'm training her dog as a service trade so it cost me nada.:D

I can't remember if it itches but I'll bet you're right. I'll let you know in the next few days.

Tomorrow will be a horror show. The day after, the swelling can be pretty ugly..:yikes:

I know what you mean, I went through a ton of q-tips that way Grammy. I just did the best top and bottom lines that I could I can and then wiped all excess of with a q-tip....worked wonders.

I bet it will look great, cant wait to see updated photos. I would love to have that done. But I would be afraid I would jump and have a permanent smudge lol. I jumped while getting my tounge and nose done (and ears). I'm to jumpy with things in my face area lol

The trick is to either use a pencil and smudge with a brush for a softer line, or ditch the brush that comes with liquid or cake eyeliner. Go to the art section of a hobby store and get a .00 or .000 LINER brush, either one for acrylic paints or an all purpose. Like this R. Simmons Expression Liner Brush Sz 00

Takes all the fight out of it ;)

Wow! Your braver than I am! My lids hurt just thinking about it, lol.

I would looove to have the nerve to get that done though. Maybe someday I will work up the courage.

Just a question though....it might be kinda dumb but my mom says she won't get hers done because as you get older when your skin sags it might look funny. Ok, it IS a dumb question. Where are the tips of your eyelids going to sag to??? :rofl1:

Not a dumb question at all. They do say that if you have heavy/saggy eyelids, NOT to get it done. Also, it really does fade as you age.
I had mine done 10 years ago and have them completely re-done today and there was almost nothing left of the old ink.

OH MY! I am so extremely jealous, jealous of your nerve, and jealous 'cause you don't have to put on eye liner anymore!!!

I get so sick and tired of doing it but feel like a bum when I don't bother *sigh* You lucky, brave, crazy little devil! hahahahaha

Reserve your enthusiasm until you see them in the morning Coop. I may just look like I stepped into the ring with Evander and he took NO mercy on me.

I'll post pictures in the a.m. and as they heal.;) I'll be looking like this smiley:cool::cool:for the next few days.

Uh, you're a braver woman than I!!! I'll stick with my liner brush, thanks anyway.

Yeah, how did you keep from blinking??? You make me laugh, you can't stomach the thought of the dentist, but don't blink twice (*rimshot*) at getting this done.

Izzy and Zoom...believe me, I blinked all right, and blinked, and blinked, and groaned a bit and dug my nails into the bed.
I think the pressure that she holds your eye open with and stretches the lids so that she can tatoo straight is more painful than the actual tatoo needle.

I was sure I'd have black eyes just from her holding them open so hard.
