Thanks!

I'm sure she would have! The local chapter of the Mixed Breed club worked with the local sighthound club to offer lure coursing for all dogs. There were a lot of breeds there.

I met you today. I was the one with the brindle borzoi puppy.

I'm glad your dog had a good time. We'll be having another all-breed/mixed breed fun run in September and putting on coursing at the Canine Games in October. We're also running a CAT Test in June if you're interested in pursuing a CA title. Feel free to PM me if you need any information about SLASH's events.

Yes, I remember you. :) Did your puppy get to practice a little?

I sent in my entry for the CAT, haven't heard if I got in yet and we'll be there in September. :D I hope Purina cuts the grass for the CAT, seemed like a lot of dogs were losing the lure in the tall stuff.

Yes, my puppy got to practice, but he just ran straights, not an entire course. For the youngsters, it's best to keep things short, no turns.

The grass did seem higher than usual, and I don't remember so many dogs becoming unsighted in the past. Hopefully, the lure will be easier to see at the next run.

I'm working the CAT Test. I hope your dog gets in.

I saw a couple of youngsters just running straight lines... Not sure if I saw yours. Did your pup get to chase barn swallows, too? :D

Yes! He got a bonus bird at the end of his run--thought it was fabulous.
