Frontline Plus, how long does it last on tiny dogs?

So I've got a 9lb mini dachshund, and he's almost 3 years old. This is my first time ever having to use Frontline.

So I got a box (3 viles) of Frontline plus - It says one bottle every 30 days.... But I seem to remember reading each bottle should last 90 days?

How long should frontline plus last, and when should I re-apply?

30 days for ticks, "up to three months" for fleas according to the packaging on what i have (which is leftover from last summer)

^^^That's what my box says too.

Around here it lasts about 25 days.... but of course you can't reapply it for 30 days.
