YAAA thanks, got it! :D
.. currently figuring out how to view other people's clans. LOL.
Like their dragons? I couldn't figure that out for the longest time either. No worries, just go to their page, and on the top, above the big letters that say "______'s Clan", there's Clan Home » Clan Profile | Dragon Lair | Nesting Grounds. Just select "Dragon Lair" and you'll see them!

Thanks Grace! Man, I got addicted to this game FAST. U__U SIGH.

Hmm.. is there a way to breed dragons that aren't your element though? Or change your nest element/dragon element?

I just got this cool-looking thing! ... wrong element though. Yelling to the heavens wondering if I can somehow breed him in the wrong element LOL.

You can breed any element to any element. :) All hatchlings will be your lair's element, though, which affects eye color.

You can change your element once every six months (though I think you can do your first change anytime?) the first one is free and the rest will cost.

Besides eye color (and nest/location), is there any benefit from being a certain Flight over another?

I'm totally wasting all of my money buying apparel for some of my dragons. But once you start, you just can't stop!

I hope this weekend I can learn more. I have been today and incubated and gathered.

I need to figure out how to feed them. I did a quick search of the forums and I cannot find it. Literally when I mean quick, I did a search and saw a ton of words that I do not have time to read. I am only on skim mode until I get my work caught up. And at night my daughter uses the computer for homework and I guess homework has to trump my dragons.

I have a new male and female dragon and it will not let me breed them. I am guessing they need to grow up or something.

To feed them, you first have to convert the food you gathered in to, well, food. Go to your Hoard. The first tab opened is the "food" page. Select the items you wish to convert (there is a "select all" button on the bottom left of the window), then click "Convert". The now converted food shows up by the food icons to the right of the time/user's online number at the top of the page.

Go to your Dragon Lair. Click the "feed" button in the upper right hand corner of the window. All of your dragons will automatically eat, and the pop up window will show you what they ate from your stores.

If you hover your mouse over a dragon, it will show you what type of food they like to eat - and will eat. For example, Tundra's are herbivores - you need plants to feed them, because they won't eat meat/seafood/bugs. Gather food according to the types of dragons you have in your lair.

As for breeding:

When you are at your Dragon Lair page and are viewing your dragon, there are symbols under their hunger status bar. One such symbol, for example, is their sex symbol (whether they are male or female). If you see a symbol of an egg with a slash through it, that means they are unable to breed at this time. If you hover over that symbol with your mouse, it will tell you how many more days they have until they are able to breed again.
