how do you decide what you want to eventually breed? i was just perusing the auction house and OMG everything is so beautiful! im torn between skydancers, spiral, and wildclaw. also please add me!! username Felahr. i already spent like half an hour on stupid addicting puzzle games lol

If you want to breed top make gold, go for coatls - longest breeding cooldown, so it makes them high-demand. Breeding for fun? Pick your favourite(s).

Trying to get a feel for how expensive in real money things are. 500 gems for $5, fine, but how many gems do things cost? gem-exclusive dragons-- how much are they? gem-exclusive items, WHAT are they, and how much are they? gem-exclusive features/unlocks/whatever, what are they and how much are they?

The forums are a great resource for these questions - especially the "Guides" forum. I also check the art forums and trade forums to see what current gem ratios folks are using. It changes.

There aren't any gem-exclusive dragons? Some folks choose to sell their dragons for gems instead of gold. There are gem-exclusive familiars, apparel etc, but even those can be re-sold for gold if someone chooses.

Every gene exists for every dragon. you can see the second Imperial in my list is iridescent. The links I posted have tons of info about genes and colours!

I have a tiger striped Imperial that I will be breeding in a few days. I might have some stripey babies after that.
