Sadie recently had fleas, and we got rid of them with frontline, but the hair on the back of her legs, rear, and belly where they seemed to infest the most has thinned alot and fallen out. Is there anything I can do to help hair grow back,or will it just take time?

Was it thin while the fleas were there or did this happen after the treatment?

Fleas can cause hair loss, but not sure about Frontline. Have heard of it happening at site of application but not wide spread.

You know that's strange. My dog never had a problem with Frontline but after this last application I noticed that the hair on her haunches and part of her sides had thinned out considerable. She's got like this ridge of regular hair down her spine and then this short hair on her sides. Weird looking "do" but it's better than fleas.

Some dogs are allergic to fleas and it is very common to have hair loss on the back of the legs, lower back. It should grow back, and i doubt it was from the frontline.

I have heard that even a single flea bite to a dog that is allergic can result in that reaction. It will come back, it takes a while.
